After breakfast, drive towards the Okavango Delta, travelling from Maun through increasingly remote landscapes and sandy tracks towards the Delta.

Today introduces you to one of Botswana’s defining experiences: exploring the waterways by mokoro, the traditional dugout canoe. Glide quietly through narrow channels lined with reeds and aquatic vegetation, with the possibility of encountering hippos, birds and other Delta wildlife.

Enjoy a guided game walk on a Delta island, experiencing the wilderness from ground level and discovering the smaller details of this extraordinary ecosystem.

Return to Maun in the evening.

Start the day with tea, coffee and breakfast around the campfire before heading out for a guided game walk on a Delta island.

After the walk, paddle back by canoe and enjoy a light meal before returning to your vehicle and continuing towards Moremi Game Reserve.

Enter Moremi in the afternoon and embark on a game drive through its diverse habitats of woodland, floodplains, lagoons and open grasslands. As the sun begins to fall, stop at a scenic lagoon for a classic African sundowner, with the sounds of the wilderness around you.

Return to camp for dinner beneath the stars.

Spend a full day exploring Moremi Game Reserve, one of Botswana’s premier wildlife areas.

Set out on morning and afternoon game drives, exploring a constantly changing landscape of open plains, woodland, seasonal pans and waterways. Moremi supports an impressive variety of wildlife, with opportunities to encounter elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, wild dogs, hippos and numerous antelope and bird species.

Return to camp during the heat of the day for lunch and a relaxing siesta before heading out again at approximately 15:00 for an afternoon drive continuing until sunset.

Today the mobile safari operation comes into its own.

While you enjoy breakfast, the camp assistants begin carefully dismantling your camp. You then depart with your guide for a morning game drive through eastern Moremi, while the supply vehicle takes an alternate route ahead to establish your next camp in the Khwai Concession.

Enjoy a leisurely wildlife drive through plains and seasonal pans, stopping for lunch beside one of the area’s scenic pools.

Continue towards Khwai and cross the rustic log bridge into the concession. By the time you reach camp, your accommodation has already been re-established, with your private tent, hot bucket shower and camp facilities ready for you.

Depart Khwai for Savuti, travelling through increasingly remote and dramatic landscapes.

The journey is itself a major safari experience, with a long game-drive transfer through the Mababe Depression before entering the dry, rugged wilderness of Savuti.

Arrive at your private camp, situated near a rocky kopje, and settle in before heading out for an afternoon or evening game drive.

Explore the famous Savuti Marsh and surrounding plains, watching for the area’s renowned predators and other wildlife gathering around water sources.

Spend another full day exploring the remarkable wilderness of Savuti.

Morning game drives follow the Savuti Channel and surrounding plains, where the landscape supports fascinating predator-prey interactions. Lions, hyenas and African wild dogs are among the species that may be encountered, along with large herds of buffalo and other plains game.

Return to camp for lunch and a relaxing midday siesta. Your camp team keeps everything running smoothly, from fresh meals and drinking water to comfortable camp facilities.

Later, visit the area’s rocky kopjes, where ancient San rock art can be found, before enjoying a sunset game drive across the surrounding wilderness.

Today marks the final mobile camp move.

While the supply team dismantles camp and heads north, you continue on a scenic game-drive transfer through teak forests and changing landscapes towards the lush floodplains of the Chobe Riverfront.

Arrive around the Chobe region by midday and continue along the river, where wildlife often gathers around the water and floodplains.

Follow the scenic river route before turning towards your private campsite.

Begin the day with an early morning game drive along the Chobe River and surrounding floodplains. This is an excellent time for wildlife viewing, with the possibility of seeing elephants, buffalo, antelope, predators and a rich variety of birdlife.

Later, transfer to Kasane and enjoy an afternoon Chobe River boat cruise until sunset.

From the water, experience the river from a completely different perspective. Large herds of elephants often gather along the banks, while hippos, crocodiles and numerous waterbirds can be seen around the river. The Chobe forms part of the natural landscape shared by several neighbouring countries, creating a spectacular cross-border wilderness setting.

Enjoy one final morning game drive in Chobe National Park, making the most of your last opportunity to experience Botswana’s extraordinary wildlife.

After the drive, transfer to Kasane International Airport for your onward journey.
